The Voice Season 21 finalist Hailey Mia just released a music video to go along with her debut single “Daydreams.” The singer wowed the coaches last year when she auditioned at just 13 years old, ultimately making it to fourth place on Team Kelly.
Hailey shows off her incredible voice on the new track, which was released earlier this month. On the chorus she sings, “I live in daydreams / Dreaming of all that we could have had.” The music video reflects the idea of fantasy versus reality.
In the clip, Hailey daydreams about her crush talking to her and ultimately inviting her to prom, but we see that it isn’t real. The video also features dreamlike shots of Hailey falling backwards through the air in a purple dress.
This is an exciting time for Hailey. As she wrote on Instagram when the song first came out, “so much hard work and dedication went into this project and seeing it unfold is like a daydream.”

Fans shared their love for Hailey’s new music video in the YouTube comments, with one person writing, “Wow what incredible talent Hailey has. To think that she’s still so young and has room for even more growth as an artist. She’s taking over for sure.”
Another commenter said they’ve been going through a breakup and are listening to “Daydreams” on repeat. Someone else wrote that “the best is yet to come” for Hailey. It’s clear that the singer has a lot of support from her fans as she embarks on her music career.
If you can’t get enough of “Daydreams,” be sure to stream all of Hailey’s The Voice covers from Season 21, including “Elastic Heart” by Sia and “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi.
